Chapter members donate turkeys to food bank director

Chapter Renews Its Commitment to Community - Members of the Lake Washington Chapter were on hand as the chapter renewed its commitment to the local community by participating in the NWTF's Turkey Hunters Care program for the second year.  Last year, the chapter donated 20 store-bought, frozen turkeys to the Issaquah Food Bank to help less fortunate families enjoy a golden brown turkey on Thanksgiving Day.

This year the chapter increased the number to 30 turkeys.  "We believe in the program so strongly that we decided to increase the number this year" said chapter treasurer and chief organizer Don Rehbuhn.

As long as resources are available the chapter will continue to participate in this very worthwhile program.
